May 15th-Which schools did you withdraw from?

Now that May 15th has come, which schools did you multiple acceptance holders withdraw from? Which did you hold on to? ...and why?

The May 15th deadline does not affect DO schools.

It does affect DO schools but not directly. When many MD applicants release seats on this date many others are moved from the waiting lists and sometimes they are also holding DO seats as a "backup" and release those seats for waitlisted DO applicants to be accepted. Get it? 😉

I don't know if it affects DO's or not...but I withdrew from LECOM-Bradenton 10 days ago...

PCOM had a May 15th deadline for a final deposit/tuition prepayment, I thought other schools may have had this type of policy as well.

Sending in a final deposit is not the same as saying, "Yes, this is the only school i am going to commit to."

Not really..I gave LECOM $1,500. It was my first acceptance, and the deposit was due before my second interview. I didn't want to take any chances, so I sent the money...it really sucks, cuz I could use that money to buy some furniture now 😛

Withdrew from PCOM after paying the initial 250 deposit, but they still send me stuff. I should make sure they know I'm not coming and I hope I haven't been holding a spot this whole time.
