does anyone see a problem for people like me trying to get scores out before the first wave of "program downloads" of applications on September 1st?

so basically for 3rd years/soon to be 4th's it's impossible to be guarenteed step 2 scores back before applications go out in that first wave of sept 1 downloads according to the aamc timeline?

am I missing something or are these two "associations" really that mal-aligned/clueless as to what the other is doing?

I doubt many programs base their interviews on seeing a CS score. The one people may care about is the CK and those scores usually come back within 3-4wks. Perhaps CS plays a slightly larger role on the rank list, but you would have plenty of time to post a passing score by Feb. I matched into ortho and no one ever mentioned my lack of a CS score (took feb 15th)

Depends. CS may be important for some of the primary care specialties, but most programs only care that you pass the test before you start.

Even CK doesnt seem to play that big of a role in initial interview screening. Most of it seems to be based on Step 1 unless your Step 2 score changes significantly.
