Im currently attending a maymester and it is listed under my spring classes. However the grade won't be available for another week, but I'm done with my app and want to submit now. Will my transcript not be accepted because the grade does not appear on it? I believe the class has NR or "not recorded" by it right now. Im thinking maybe I should explain this in the activity description I did for the trip, although this would be hard in 300 characters. What do you guys think I should do?

It's up to you whether you want those grades to be included in your AMCAS GPA or not, because they will calculate whatever is recorded on your transcripts. I have 2 classes this last spring semester with no grades yet, but AMCAS just went ahead and calculated my GPA. I chose that because those classes will not affect my GPA at all. But it's all up to you, because once calculated, your AMCAS GPA will stay the same, and they will not recalculate it if you send an updated transcript.
TMDSAS, on the other hand, will recalculate your GPA with updated transcript. At least that's what they told me.

The class wont affect my GPA at all. So I don't care about that, I'm just concerned about this holding up my app.

Then don't worry. They will calculate whatever is recorded on your transcript.

To be honest, I find it strange that maymester is not getting it own semester on your official transcript. If I were you, if you haven't already, I would get my hands on an OFFICIAL transcript and make sure that there is not some designation, like an asterisk or something denoting the course was taken in maymester. Because AMCAS does have a designation for maymester and schools may actually want to know the course was taken during maymester and not spring semester as it will look like you took more courses than you actually did in a given semester if its not getting its own semester. I would definitely read over the back of your official transcript to see if it denotes maymester in anyways.
