Mayo (AZ) + 45k scholarship:
-Pros: prestige? (not sure if newness of campus diminishes its' prestige a bit), individualized attention cause small class, apparently med students are graduating with 20-30 pubs which is insane(ly good)
-Con: far away from home in Houston, not sure if their match list for ortho is the greatest and my heart is set on ortho pretty much
TBH I'm genuinely not sure how to evaluate match lists. They don't seem to be matching great places in ortho but I do seem some nice places for other competitive specialties like derm, plastic surgery, or urology. Here's the match lists for mayo in previous years, for your reference:

alumniassociation.mayo.edu

I'm also not sure how to evaluate Mayo's prestige. If it was Mayo (RN), it would be an obvious choice but the Arizona campus is kinda new.
Baylor:
-Pros: lots of family connections in Texas to orthopedics, closer to home (1 hr away), matches places in Texas
-Con: could end up in Temple but unlikely since I prematched, slightly more expensive (by 7k each year) cause no scholarship
Which one should I choose? I really just want to pick the most prestigious one and also the one most likely to get me into a brand name orthopedic residency.
