Does anyone know where I can get some solid, reliable information regarding the field of health care administration and associated credentials (MBA with concentration in health care management or MHA). I'm really looking for just general information at this point. Anything would be a big help...thanks very much!

That's like getting a BA and a BS...

Ohh I thought you meant you wanted both an MHA and MBA. I thought that was kind of ridiculous.

Thats okay...yeah, definitely not interested in that

University of Colorado @ Denver has something that may be of interest, there are a few tracts within the MBA program that focus on healthcare/healthcare management.

I glanced through the application-- my impression was that they're looking for candidates with healthcare management, or somehow relevant, experience in additiont to a decent GMAT score. Another option may be to consider applying to this or some other MBA program that allows one to take electives in healthcare management after being accepted. Look at the # of classes offered -- my school only had 1 elective in an area where I've worked for years; limited benefit to taking that one class and claiming strength in that area.
