Hi everyone,

As discussed in an earlier post, I plan on applying to postbac programs (BM/Goucher/Hopkins) for entry in Summer 2014. This will allow me to get a year of clinical experience and be a stronger candidate.

However, this also means that I'll have to take the MCAT 2015. Given the new requirements, do you think I should be (re)taking courses like Psych, Stats, etc? Will BM/Goucher/Hopkins still be able to offer one-year programs with linkages? I emailed the admissions offices and will let you know when I hear, but I sure am worried given that I really want to try and link at my age (32, 33 when I start PB)

Thoughts? Info?

I'm a little worried too as I'm in the same boat. Let us know when you hear something!

I think all postbac programs will revamp their curricula to accommodate the new MCAT subjects. Should be interesting. So I think you shouldn't worry because postbacs are there to prepare you for the MCAT and medical school.

But then again, I could be giving them too much credit, but I doubt it. =P
