just completing my app online and have a question

i heard (through the grapevine) that you could submit your AACOMAS app BEFORE August MCAT scores were turned in so they could at least start a file on you....is this true? i didn't think that i would be able to complete the submission unless all information is filled out in full.

what about turning in letters of rec. to the schools directly before aacomas app is complete (while i am waiting for mcat scores)?? i don't want my letters to be floating in their files, but i also want them to run across my name earlier than later....

any input?

I would submit AACOMAS application before your MCAT score if it is complete. I think you should wait till schools send you secondary before sending in the LOR. Once you recieve secondary, it is safe to submit LOR.

I submitted my applcation last week. I am an august mcater. Any school that sends me a secondary I am going to try my best to get it completed in a timely fashion although I am current trying to get my premed committee letter.

to the best of my knowledge you can for sure submit and even make a mad dash to return secondaries, hwoever they will not consider your app til they get the august scores...so there really is no rush to return your secondaries immediately, but of course always good to get everything in so when the scores do come out everything is all set.
