Why is this even a thread?

Higher MCAT increases your chances of getting in, but doesn't guarantee admission. A lower score doesn't mean you're out of the running. Did I just spoil it for you?

I think it's a good thread because at least it's better than the "3.8 GPA, 12 MCAT - I got a 4 on each section waaaahh, chances???" threads that are ten pages long and usually consist of people telling the OP to try again, apply Carib, jump off a bridge etc etc. Then the ONE person with the EXACT same stats magically appears and tells the OP they got into Johns Hopkins BUT they did a master's, then instructing them to do the same and that's about how they all go. At least this is just a simple poll, you know?

I got an post-interview acceptance, waitlist, AND rejection with a 30+ MCAT.

hmmm... what do I answer on this poll?
