I am a pre-Med major in a community college and will just about to transfer in december to complete my major in biology. I plan to take my MCAT next year april or may but the problem is that, i am yet to do any community service, shawdow doctors or anything like that but i have a planned internship in two countries next summer. Should i take the MCAT before i do my internship, voluntary work and all that good stuff or after?
Any advise please?

you know yourself best. If you can dedicate enough time to studying for the MCAT and volunteering then I would do that. However, I would focus on doing well on the MCAT right now since it takes a lot of time and effort. Also, you will not get in anywhere with a bad score--no matter how much shadowing or volunteering youve done. Do well on the MCAT...then focus on building up your resume. Maybe in the time being you can just volunteer somewhere once a week
