MCAT for residency

yes it matters if you're insecure and feel the need to belittle your fellow classmates who scored lower than you. 4th dimensional Trump chess moves to destroy your opponents confidence that they score poorly on STEP1 and then you can have that derm residency all to yourself. Brilliant.

Does the MCAT matter for residency/after getting into medical school?
Lol.. its just a ridiculous test you will never see or asked about once you get in. People who know about med school and been through it actually laugh at parents who brag about kids who get high scores in the MCAT.

I think I did have to provide my MCAT score when I applied for a research training grant but for residency? Lol no way.

I had such a high MCAT score that eventhough I barely passed Step 1, I got into my first choice of orthopedics.

All the cool kids know how to say "Ok google" these days. Are you from the 19th century?
