If you take the MCAT twice and your second time your score is lower than your first time, how do schools view this? Do they average the scores or look only at the higher one?

If you scored lower on your second attempt, then simply don't release it. I don't think the admission committee will know about it unless they are holding your application for second scores. In that case, it depends on different schools.

I have a friend that got her graduate Master's at BU, she got a 3.5 GPA from BU and got a 21 on her second MCAT after undergrad and a 19 on her 3rd MCAT. Her 3rd attempt was after taking the graduate courses, and she just bombed it....but, she had excellent EC's and letters, and got accepted at Western with a 19!!!! She even interviewed at BU with that score. 🙂 She will be an excellent Doctor, she just took both the MD and DO boards back to back and PASSED the first time!!!! 😀
