Sorry if this has been asked before. But I was filling out all the mcat stuff on their website and getting ready to pick a date. I was wondering if I have to specifically ask them to release my scores to acom, or is it just done through the acom application when you give your social security number. I hope that makes sense. Thanks

When you get your scores, then you will have the option to release the scores to AACOMAS from the score page on MCAT website.

AMCAS automatically has the scores uploaded correct? This never happens with aacomas however?

Correct. AACOMAS is a separate service/company than AAMC, which is also in charge of the MCAT and AMCAS. That's why your MCAT scores will automatically update with AMCAS, but not AACOMAS.
