OK I sent in my AACOMAs back in Augest and I just recently got my Augest MCAT scores. I sent a score report to AACOMAS and I was wondering if I need to do anything else. Will schools get my updated scores even though I submitted in Aug? Do I need to send the scores to each school individually?

Thanks

You've done your part. I had this same question when the scores were released, so I sent an email through AACOMAS, and this was the response I received:
"That is how you release the scores to us, by using the THX system. Once we receive the scores, we will automatically send them to your designated colleges."

I sent in my primary in July and asked AACOMAS if I had to do anything else besides release my MCAT scores to them (this was my second time taking the MCAT). If you log on to your AACOMAS application, you'll notice that the date of the "Mailing Designations" has been updated to the date that you released your new MCAT scores to them.

I am applying to OSU-COM, I talked to them on the phone when they called me for my interview and told me that I could print out the MCAT score report off of the aamc Thx system website and fax it to them because AACOMAS is a little slow about getting things pushed through. If you need to update your score asap, I recommend doint this. It will not work as "official," but when your real scores do come through, they'll know that you weren't lying.
