MCAT registration ??

Hey all. This might sound like a dumb question but I am registering for the April MCAT and I was wondering what I should do on the release page section. Do I just pick one option? My scores get sent to ACCOMAS and they send them out to the schools right? Maybe I am all backward. Sorry for the ignorance. Thanks for any help.

You release your scores to AACOMAS, and they will send them to the schools you designate on your Primary Application. Obviously this would only be Osteopathic schools.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't apply to any allopathic schools, MCAT automatically releases to AMCAS right?

Please don't be shy about asking what you think are silly questions...we've all been there. I was very confused when I started out at first also! Ask away...getting the questions out of the way now could spare you grief and humiliation in the future! 🙂

I, for example, forgot to release my scores to AACOMAS, and just did so afterward. You can always do that straight from the MCAT web site.

You can't release your scores to AACOMAS until you get your scores back.

AMCAS automatically gets them.
