MCAT scores after AACOMAS submission.

I already submitted my AACOMAS app a long time ago and I just received my new MCAT scores today. I forwarded the scores to AACOMAS again. Should I update individual schools on my scores by email and tell them that my scores are on the way?

I heard MD schools automatically receive my scores once they come out. So, I didn't do anything. Is that true?

I was in the same boat last month when I got my scores. As long as you resend them they should get sent to the schools in their weekly download. Just make sure AACOMAS receives them. For some reason, if I e-mail them about it (which I had to do twice), it gets updated with AACOMAS immediately 😛 IIRC it took about 5-7 days for it to be send to the schools

I am not sure about MD schools, but when I got my newest scores, I also sent emails to each DO school so they'd be on the lookout for an update.

Also, does anyone know the email of TCOM NY? I have been looking for it every where. They don't seem to have it on their website... weird.

all you should have to do is to release them to AACOMAS, and they'll take care of the rest. I would, however, recommend sending an email to any schools you're really interested in. I was in a similar situation (submitted my app first, then got my mcat scores), and a couple schools didn't seem to get the memo.
