hey guys,

i just had a general question regarding the mcat scores. does our scores from august get automatically sent to the schools you indicated on your primary apps? i wasn't sure about the procedure regarding that. i went on the aamc site and they had mentioned the new THx score release procedure. i'm not even sure if that applies only to amcas participating schools. does anyone know how that would work for aacomas applicants?

I don't think the scores are automaticallly sent.

I had to ask the AAMC to forward my MCAT scores to AACOMAS, which then sent them to the schools I was applying to.

The AMCAS and the AACOMAS are separate organizations, which requires them to be forwarded. Thankfullly it is free and easy.
