Hi everyone,
I am a Year 2 Biomedical Sciences major student in the 4+4 PCOM program. I am planning on taking my MCAT in January of 2021 and am looking for any advice on how to prepare. Although I am in a DO program right now, I am aiming to get a high score so that I can apply to competitive MD programs as well. Right now, I am slowly beginning to review content I have already learned using the 7 Kaplan books. Over the summer, I am taking Biochemistry for 6 weeks and then I hope to take an MCAT prep course to review and practice all the material.
Is there any particular course you would recommend? Is online or in-class preferred? I've heard the main ones are Kaplan and Princeton review...
Also, I hear a lot of people have private tutors to help them with MCAT studying and I was wondering how that works. How often do you meet with them and is it useful?
I may have more questions later on, but for now if anyone could help me out, that would be great!
Thanks for your time everyone.
