Hi all!

I decided a few weeks before I took my MCAT that I was going to go for a MPH (in Epidemiology/Biostat/Maternal and Child Health...not really sure yet) instead before applying to medical school. By that point there wasn't any point in asking for a refund so I took the test anyways. I scored a 30 on the test, but I'm not sure if that's competitive enough for some of the MPH programs I'm looking at. With that said, should I go and take the GRE?

Some more information about me:
I have a GPA of 3.83, and I'm currently looking at the following schools: BU, Columbia, Pittsburgh, Dartmouth, Mt. Sinai, Jefferson, and University of Illinois at Chicago.

Along with the numerical statistics, I have a few leadership positions in clubs on campus along with a few research experiences. I volunteered at my family doctor's office for about a year, and I have shadowed a team of physicians at a hospital near my university. I'm afraid my real life experience seems to be lacking as well. 🙁

Anyways, any help would be very much appreciated!
Thanks a lot! 🙂

from what I've seen some schools/programs won't accept the MCAT and require the GRE, so the best answer is probably to check which programs you're interested in and see what the reqs are. That said, it' a different beast than the MCAT so make sure you review for it as well if you do wind up taking it.
