I know MCAT's are valid for no more than 3 years before matriculation, but does the date of the MCAT matter or only the year?

For instance, I took the september 18 MCAT in 2014, so will this be valid for the 2016-2017 cycle for schools that have a 3-year policy? (I assume that some schools starts after september 18)

I love all the schools with "did not enter policy" next to their names.

You guys are freakin med schools. Get your policies organized.
