MCATs not getting posted

Hey all,

Anyone else's MCAT scores taking forever to be posted to AACOMAS's application? Had mine sent out 5/1 and 5/16, and neither have shown up yet. Sent AACOMAS a message and they haven't responded yet.

What gives?

Mine took almost 2 full weeks, so it should be posted any day now!

I sent my score 5/1, and resent it 5/15, and it hasn't shown yet. I've quadruple checked that I have the right AAMC ID listed. I sent them a message, and they just said to send it again. Just gotta be patient I suppose.

How can you tell if they have it or not?

If I remember correctly, I had to call AACOM and they had it done within the day.

To follow up for anyone also having this problem, I called AACOMAS and the score was added within a few minutes.

There might be multiple reasons. I had my older MCAT score sent (with my maiden name on it) while I was waiting on the new score (with my married name), and AACOMAS wouldn't show that any of them were accepted because of the name change confusion, even though I listed previous and current name status and why there were two.... it was ridiculous. I'd call or write them if you're still having problems.

For some reason my previous request for MCAT score release on the AAMC website did not go through. Just called AACOMAS and they said to go redo it. The release is on the MCAT page at AAMC. Hope this helps anyone else in the same situation! And I hope they post fast as that is what was holding up my verification.
