MCCEE, USMLE or PLAB

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Having only understood 3 words in this entire post I'm going to say usmle

1. The MCCEE is a relatively easy exam but it is insanely difficult to get a Canadian residency as an IMG, even if you are a Canadian citizen or PR.

2. The USMLE is the most difficult exam of the three but it is slightly less difficult to land a residency in the USA compared to Canada.

3. The PLAB is equal to slightly more difficult than the MCCEE. If you need FY1 and 2 years, you wont get them as preference goes to UK graduates regardless of their citizenship. If you already did a recognized internship in your own country and it is deemed equivalent to FY1 or FY2 you may be able to find a registrar post. The right to work in the UK is an important thing to have in this case.

4. Have you considered writing the AMC exams for Australia? They are the easiest out of all of the above but you will not find a training post in Australia. You need to use the specialist pathway to ensure that you will a job as a physician.
