I applied to MCG last year with a 2.97 overall, 3.20 science and a 17/17/18 DAT. After not getting an interview I was told to improve GPA, DAT, and get some experience. Since then, I have raised my GPA by taking post bac courses in Genetics, molec. cell, Anatomy/Phis. 1 and 2. GPA is now 3.1 overall and about a 3.3 science ( 4.0 in post bac). I spent one day a week in a dental office observing and have gained about 70-80 hrs shadowing. Raised DAT to 19/19/20. Those that have been accepted to MCG or know alot about it, what do you think my chances are? I REALLY want to go to MCG so my wife and I can stay near our family and friends (cost of tuition is also nice). Thanks!

i think MCG will appreciate the improvements you have done to your DAT, and GPA and you probably have a higher chance now. but i wouldn't only apply to it. just incase it doesn't happen.

i think there a couple of mcg students around here also off hand i remember drtacoelf
