Hey all,

I know MCG only accepts GA residents. The thing is, I moved to GA my senior year of college, this is last year oct, 2009.

So I am a GA resident, I have my driver's license, tax from GA, bank account, car registration etc ect

Also they look at the amount of time you have lived in GA and when you matriculate, so if I get in, by the time classes start at MCG, I would be a GA resident for 1.8 years.

I have read somewhere that they do look at the length of time you are a GA resident and that can really hurt your chances? Is there any truth to that? Thanks

Well I know on the application it had alot of questions stating how long you have been living in Georgia, and why you moved to GA and everything, so I think they would take it in consideration, but wth why not give it a shot anyways application is only like 30 bucks.

I am currently a faculty member at the MCG or recently Georgia Health Sciences University 🙂 and will be renting out a wonderful home to several medical students. Home was built in 2005, it has 4 full bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 1/2 baths, as well as garage and back yard. This townhome is close to National Hills golf course (home of the masters) and only 10 minutes from MCG. I would be comfortable renting it out to up to 3 medical students at a very affordable price with a 2 yr. lease.
