mcphs as a transfer

does anyone have an idea of how easy/difficult it is to get into mcphs into the boston campus as a transfer?
I know they take mainly high school students, but I think I would like Boston more than Worcester

any thoughts on this?🙄

Boston is a 4 years program and it does accept transfer students. You should apply as soon as possible because of rolling admission. The difficulty to get into Boston is the same with Worcester. Worcester campus like transfer students with BS/BA degree.

It is very difficult to get into Boston campus. I graduated with BS at Boston and applied to PharmD program but never get a chance. Spaces available each year depend on the progression of the first, second or third year pharmd students. Last year, there was about 40 or 60 seats for more than thousand applicants. I ended up apply to Wor and got in this year. I suggest if you got BS degree and meet all requirements, you should apply to Wor. They accept the same amount of transfer students every year. Gluck

Congrats to all those on their acceptance to MCPHS-Worcester, 06pharm, Swanchick84, meg28, and all of the others. I was wondering what were all of your stats, and most importantly what type of questions were asked during your interviews besides the obvious (why do you want to be a pharmacist, why do you want to attend MCPHS), what was the essay topic and how difficult was it, did you all have extensive pharmacy tech experience and extracurricular activities, and if you took the PCAT, did you forward it to MCPHS-Worcester and did they look at it or comment on it during your interview? Also, does it look bad if you retake any prereqs (chemistry,physics, etc.) over to improve a grade? I know these are alot of questions, but I am asking you all because I know how competitive it is to enter pharmacy school and you were all accepted, which means you had exactly what they were looking for. I would appreciate any answers, THANKS SO MUCH!! 🙂
