hi,

im curious if there is a big difference between the MCPHS campuses.

I know that boston is 6 years..and the other 2 are 3 year programs...but aside from that, what is the difference? curriculum? are the faculty different? (since theyre all i nclose proximity, itd be easy to get to all 3 campuses)

anyway, im just curious, i didnt apply to any of these schools...but the fact that there are 3 campuses in close proximity sparked my interest in them

thankx

Hi goinkhead,

I currently attend the Boston campus. To my knowledge, the topics covered here at the Boston campus as compared to the Worcester campus are the same (as with all pharmacy schools), but the sequence in which these topics are taught might differ and the way in which they are covered may also differ. I was told that Worcester combines some courses together while at the Boston campus, these courses would stand alone. In regards to the faculty, most professors here at the Boston campus would basically teach at the Boston campus only, but collaboration can exist between professors from the 2 campuses. I don't know much about the Manchester campus, so maybe some Worcester students can respond =)
I am not sure if this response was helpful to you, but hopefully others can elaborate further.

The main difference lies in that Worcester is mainly directed towards those as a graduate program for those who already have degrees and bachelors and so on. ( continuing education and want a pharmacy license ) In fact, to get a sense of the atmosphere there, over half of the students at Worcester have families while at the Boston campus, it is mainly directed to those who just came out of high school.

Also, you only allow to apply to 1 campus/year. I got interview offer for Worcester for tomorrow, so I keep my finger crossed!
