Just wondering who else has applied to MCPHS's program. Would you mind sharing insights about the program?

Hey, I have applied to MCPHS and have not heard anything from them yet. I am so nervous

Hi,
I was invited to an interview back in November. I went and it was an interesting setting. The Worcester campus is all grad programs on a smaller campus, so definitely a different feel than your average college. Some down sides were that I didn't see any kind of library, very little in terms of dining services, cadaver labs were in UMASS medical school off campus. I did think the curriculum was pretty well thought out, and the staff seemed fully adequate. But for such a high price I wasn't sure it was worth what it was lacking. I did receive an acceptance a couple weeks after the interview but I think I will be declining because I was accepted to UCONN (which I am in-state for), so both logistically and financially it makes more sense for me. But I haven't made a final decision yet.

Hey do you mind sharing your stats please

I had an interview mid December and found out less then a week later I was accepted. I plan on accepting a spot in the program. The school does have three buildings through out Worcester, two right across the street, the other (primarily all the PT classes) is about a 10 minute walk away. I agree the schoool is not your typical college campus but for someone who does not plan to live on campus, that is not really a concern to me. The program is fairly new, being this is the first year they are fully accredited. The school has an excellent reputation for their PA and Optometry programs so I feel the DPT program will gain that too as the program continues to grow and develop. I also did not see a library on campus but they do get to use all of the databases of Harvard Medical School. The cadaver labs are right across the street at St. Vincent Hospital and you do a 6 hour lab, once a semester during Anatomy I and Anatomy II. While waiting for the other applicants to interview, I was able to watch some interactions with the students and the professors (it was the last day of finals week, office was packed) which I was VERY impressed with.

Can you share any experience with how your interview was? Type of questions?
