MCW vs SLU vs Mizzou

Sorry for this thread. from reading some of the others, it seems that people aren't too happy about these so I will take it down soon as soon as I get a few responses. So right now I ruled out a few but these are the ones I am thinking about and am leaning towards slu- felt good and I hear they have an improving reputation. But I wanted to see what you all think. its all good since northwestern wasnt one of the shcools you posted up there 😉....

i havent been on interviews to the 3 schools you listed....
only applied to MCW and SLU....but my friend interviewed at MCW and said it was really nice. place looks like a hotel with their nice carpet and everything....

people say some positive things about SLU here.... maybe you can talk to Moops. Hes an SLU expert from what i can see....

thanks jlee- i actually PMed moops already and talked to the offices and other students who confirmed everything (not that i was second guessing you moops!) which placed slu up there on my list. part of me knows that slu will be higher 'ranked' (whatever that means) than mcw soon enough, but then again i really like slu as well. mcw was really nice and comfortable, but i didn't think too much of the area. it seemed a little isolated and cold.. definitely cold.. so i'm just looking for other input

Isolated from what??!! The school is in a nice suburb surrounded by a thriving commercial area (not to mention the NUMEROUS clinics on campus). And downtown is only about 10 minutes away.

I think slu and mcw are really similar schools in terms of academics with a non-competitive and cooperative environment.

The deciding factors for me was that st louis is a much better town to live in with more things to do in it. Plus, its a lot warmer than wisconsin! Rankings arent really a factor since slu will be going up pretty soon.

so based on this stuff, i chose slu over mcw

I interviewed at MCW and had a regional interview at SLU. I really liked MCW and would pick it over SLU just because I heard the area around SLU is kinda ghetto and the facilities are old. That's just my preference.
