MD before OMFS?

Guys, I hate to do this, but I wasn't getting any response from the allo forum:





This has been discussed a couple of times before, but not to a great extent.

There are a few OMFS programs that accept MD applicants, are there that many medical students who apply to these programs? I wonder if it's popular among medical students. I'm sure the competition is fierce enough for the DDS applicants, how would the MD guys fare?

Besides Baylor, Louisville, and U of Alabama, are there others?

No one really knows this info, there hasn't been anything published as far as I'm aware.

Your best bet is to just contact OMFS programs that are based at dental schools and ask them if they would consider medical applicants for a combined DDS/OMS program. 👍 Good luck
