I'm new here and I know similar questions have been asked, but I didn't see this particular question regarding MD/PhD applications so I thought I'd ask.

Is there a minimum number of letters of recommendation that people recommend? It seems to vary school to school and applicant to applicant, but here's what I have:

1. science professor in my major
2. non-science professor
3. PI (PhD) at my university (worked for 3 full school years)
4. PI (MD/PhD) at another university (worked full-time for 3 summers, also shadowed in clinic for >100 hours)

I expect all 4 letters should be pretty strong. Would this be enough or would it be best to add more? Thanks in advance for your help!

I don't see the need to add more letters than that. To be honest, the only letters that matter for MD/PhD admissions are the PI letters.

Also remember that a decent number of programs require a letter from every PI you have worked with (just a general reminder, not addressing you specifically).
