Someone I know that's in the MD, PhD program told me that the MD, PhD essays are suppose to be due in the secondaries. However, I'm doing my application right now and see that it's due in the primaries. They ARE due in the primaries, right? Thanks!

Yes. There are added essays on the primary when you indicate MD/PhD.

You'll prob get more essays for your secondaries if you do MD/PhD, but I'm here to confirm that you do, in fact, need to go ahead and submit the AMCAS with the 2 additional MD/PhD essays. Good luck!

The addition of MD/PhD essays to the AMCAS started with the 05/06 app cycle, which is why your friend thought things worked differently.
