Someone I know that's in the MD, PhD program told me that the MD, PhD essays are suppose to be due in the secondaries. However, I'm doing my application right now and see that it's due in the primaries. They ARE due in the primaries, right? Thanks!

Yes. There are added essays on the primary when you indicate MD/PhD.

You'll prob get more essays for your secondaries if you do MD/PhD, but I'm here to confirm that you do, in fact, need to go ahead and submit the AMCAS with the 2 additional MD/PhD essays. Good luck! :luck:

I'm pretty sure there's a lot more to life than being really, really good looking. And I plan on finding out what that is.

are the questions on secondaries different than "why are you interested in a md/phd program?"

Just because we have chiseled abs and stunning features, that does not mean that we too cannot die in a freak gasoline-fight accident.

The addition of MD/PhD essays to the AMCAS started with the 05/06 app cycle, which is why your friend thought things worked differently.
