Just wondering...what are mudphud salaries like? If you choose to focus on clinical practice/research, would your salary be any different from any other doctor doing similar fields?

often times less.

work in research normally nets a lower figure than pure clinical practice.

that is not taking into account that some residencies often prefer docs/phds vs just docs because even then, you do nearly pure clinical work, very little research...
