I am debating the MD/PhD route. I was hoping to get feedback on which programs would suit my goals well, and at which I would be competitive.

GPA: 3.7, 3.7
MCAT: 33 (12,11V,10)
Research: 1, maybe 2, middle-author publications occurring in the middle of/late in the application cycle in nanochemistry.

I am a New Englander, if that matters...

If you want to do research for 3-5 years and you are strongly considering a research career in the future, + you want to be a physician, do it. Maybe I missed something but I am not clear on what your goals are. If you are specific someone may be able to help more.

sorry, can't offer much advice without know what your goals are. moreover, make sure you think it out a lot before you apply for md/phd, because it's a long route and not something you want to do on a whim or if you aren't sure.
