MD/PhD waitlist period

Hi everyone,
does anyone know if the MD/PhD waitlists can also last all the way untill the school starts? I really hate this waiting thing, and also i need an advice. Ok, what should i do, i have a great opportunity to work as a personal research assistant to the president of research in a breast cancer research institute, and he is willing to take me ASAP but im stuck on the waiting list and have no idea for how much longer? does anyone know approximately how much are we gonna wait more compared to regular MD waitlisted pple, and also maybe give me an advice of what to do(im scared this guy won't like to wait with me 🙁.

i've been told that virtually all waitlist movement happens within 30 days of the deadline (may 15th, is it?)

but i was told by my interviewer that i should probably hear around mid april, so i thought maybe the waitlist movement for md/phders was earlier, but i might be wrong

i would suggest contacting the institution in question and asking them directly about their waitlist patterns. it happens, but i wouldn't hold your breath...
