Just a very quick question with no intention to start a forum battle:

Did any of you choose a DO acceptance over an MD acceptance, and if so, why?

Hope we can keep this forum civil.

Yes you're clearly the picture of civility on the matter:

No one applies DO without having any other choice (I.e. can't get into MD). Nothing wrong with being a DO, but forever people will associate your two letters with "couldn't get into MD"

There are plenty of posts about the decision to choose a medical school; I've seen posts where users have chosen DO over MD.

Since you're not a current medical student, claim to have multiple MD acceptances, it is clear what your sentiment is about the DO degree and this topic has been beaten to death, I see no reason for it to remain open.
