All kidding aside, I don't really see a need to change it to MDo. Most proponents of a name change cite the need for greater recognizability (is that a word?), and I don't see any name change acheiving that.

No,

because that would imply that I'm an allopathic physician, and I wouldn't want that stigma.

In some parts of the country, people actually prefer osteopaths.....

I agree. Let's stick with the name we have. I am proud of this profession. DO is becoming more and more recognizable every day. 👍
 
I'm in the who cares catergory.....
 
people we are DOs here and lets be proud of it. someone else can do the whole MOD or DOM or whatever. im just plain DO. go TCOM!!
