Economy was different in 2010. My med school just increased the "cheapest" loan package from 100k to now 120k for people who qualify for the best aid. They at least guarantee the same indebtedness for the duration of your enrollment.

I feel for the 2018s entering now...
 
None from undergrad, but in the 200k range for med school. It could have been worse.
