Pharmd looking to go md- What are my prospects with a 3.4 gpa?
You should take the MCAT first. Find out what your sGPA is. Do you have any other ECs besides Pharm school?

If you get a good score in the mcat, it will help to balance things in your favor. You should also look up the schools you plan to apply to on the MSAR - it has a lot of statistics for the students they accept (gpa range, mcat range etc). Look up my post history as well, I am a PharmD accepted to medschool and have received some good replies here and I have also shared my experience to other PharmD a so that may help answer some questions. Happy to help if you had any specific questions.

You need to calculate your sGPA by looking at your BCPM classes (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Math). Classes that count towards your sGPA can be found on AMCAS here. EC's are extracurriculars, you would need strong extracurriculars, a good amount of volunteer work. and a high MCAT score with a 3.4 GPA to apply MD. Depending on your sGPA, your MCAT score, and your EC's applying DO might be a better option than applying MD. This isn't necessarily a bad thing though, as people who go the DO route can still get into a lot of the same residencies as those who go MD.
