Hi all!

I was wondering if any of you have attended an admissions workshop held by the medical school itself, and if so, how useful you found it to be.

Thanks in advance 🙂

What do you hope to get out of the workshop? What can the workshop offer you compared to sdn/internet? Unless they are telling you specific details in which you cannot get anywhere else (i doubt it), I personally think they useless and a waste of time.

The state of Michigan holds a mini conference every year, with all of the michigan medical schools in attendance. I went to one and found it very helpful! You could ask adcoms about your application, get tips on how to phrase things in your app, and hear advice from panels of med students.

If there's one close and low cost, I don't really see a downside to going
