Just wanted to know if apps are up and competition higher or vice versa. I know that last year was the lowest in decades, 50% got spots.

Come on everybody! Why don't you answer the question? Everyone here is privvy to such info, no? You don't know what is going on at 140ish medical schools accross the country? You haven't analyzed the demographic information of this years applicants, some of which have yet to submit their aamcas application. You can't answer how the competition is shaping up to be this year? You should be able to tell shocker what exact scores will guarantee adimission to a school, at the very least. Shame on you SDN'ers who should know better, and refuse to help out a brother in need.
