Hey everyone,
So I know with the MCAT changing the classes it is testing in 2015, many med schools will also be changing these requirements for admissions but will they be changing the requirements before 2015? I am a bioengineering major (going to be a junior) so I have not taken classes like psychology or biochem bc it is not required for my major or for med school (originally). I have stats that keep me competitive for top 20 med schools but don't know if not taking these classes will put me at a huge disadvantage. I can definitely try to squeeze them into my schedule or take over winter but that will impede my ability to do more medically related EC which I am also lacking.
Suggestions??
Or better yet, have the med schools said anything regarding this?? Or is it a school by school change as of now??
