I just finished reading Med School Confidential, and I seriously encourage everyone to read it. Aside from settling my mind on many topics, there are two former post-bacc non-trad alumns who provide great perspective. They dedicate some of the writing to people specifically in our situation. Seriously, this book is great.

That is all. 👍

Ah yes, I read that a few years ago before I embarked on this crazy journey. I'll have to dig it out and reread it.

It is a solid read, covering everything from undergrad to residency.

Basically TwinsFan has it. It covers everything in your medical training from how to get into a medical school through studying and USMLEs and residency. There is even a chapter written by one of the author's wives about being an SO to a medical student/doctor.

I wish I would have read this sooner (but they also cover that).

Definitely a good book. I bought a used copy on Amazon about a year ago and have put some miles on it, and even let other people read it.

Great book.
