It's very situational, and you have to be more careful than you would elsewhere. The main reason being that if it goes bad, you still have to be around that person every day for the forseeable future. It also means that gossip goes around just as quickly.
But hey, if you find someone and it's going great and you couldn't be happier, who are people on a mesage board to say one way or the other.
