med school studying like MCAT studying?

Is studying for the material once you're actually in medical school comparable to the amount of effort people put in to study for the MCAT? Maybe it's a bit easier or maybe even a bit more difficult? Just wondering.

No worries, a mod will probably move it for you. In any case, I'm not a med student so this is pure speculation, but I doubt MCAT studying is similar to med school studying. MCAT studying is 50% (or more) practice, whereas med school (if it is similar to upper-division biology coursework) will probably be comprehension, memorization, then regurgitation. I think the two are hard for different reasons: the MCAT because they try to trick you, and med school because they dump a whole lot of info on you.
