Hi everyone I am non trad student and it is fair to say I did not take undergrad that seriously ten years ago. For the last three years I have been back in school part time while working full time. I have a 4.0 in my pre med post bach over 40 hours now. Are there any allopathic schools that look more at recent coursework than overall gpa?? Right now my overall gpa is a 3.47 and my post bach is a 4.0 in all science and math classes. Mcat is pending.

Thank you!

They'll look at the change in course work and work ethic and recognize your improvement, and your overall GPA isn't too terrible. You'll still need to look at a few lower tier schools as some schools will filter out applicants with a cGPA less than 3.5
