I was watching an old episode of ER, remember Lucy, the med student who had that love-hate relationship with carter? I'm thinking, what med student has that much balls to tangle with residents/attendings and question their actions? In fact, the most convincing med student to date was young carter... Anyways, the show stinks now, and its time to lay that dead horse's weary bones to rest.

Whoops! I meant to post this on the ER thread...Guess I must have clicked new thread. ANyways, since I've started the topic, I found that keeping your mouth shut about what the attending/resident thinks works best, unless its gonna kill the patient, and then I would ask a question about what they are planning to do...like..."would you worry about arrhythmias with the amount of K you are about to give?" I think most med students who know what's good for them work hard to learn, but are mostly there for the ride, and that's why that lucy chick was so unconvincing. I was always told not to show up my residents...I don't know, what do you guys think?
