so what's the consensus on kaplan's medEssentials? i really like it, but it's new and there's not much feedback on it yet. of course it can't replace first aid, but i feel like medEssentials is pretty comprehensive...almost like first aid with extra notes. what do you think!?

that is what it looks like to me as well. I used to teach for them and they mailed me the book for free. Now that I have finished a semester of med school and looked back at some the relevant material in medessentials, I realize that it is pretty solid. The great part is that it already has notes in it, so it is like it is already annotated for you!
