Has anyone used Kaplan's Medessentials and if so what did you think of it and how did you do?

Has anyone used Kaplan's Medessentials and if so what did you think of it and how did you do?

i really like this book. it seems to summarize all the key things from kaplan, but i never hear anyone talk about it.

It basically is all of the info from the Kaplan set of notes condensed with all of the same pictures. I used it some throughout to go over things like Biochem, Genetics, etc... as a quick review. I think it is more of a review than a learning source as it doesn't give a whole lot of explanation. I bought it during first year and never used it until board review time as I forgot all about it- it would have been helpful....
