Medicaid Payment Equality

I was wondering how the fight is going for medicaid equality (to be labeled as physicians)? I know a few bills were introduced into congress.

I thought if you were diabetic then stuff gets covered. I think the majority of the states you can take medicaid patients.

HR 3364 and S 1309, both titled "Equity and Access for Podiatric Physicians Under Medicaid Act" both died in committee (House Energy and Commerce, and Senate Finance) in the 112th Congress.

The bills have yet to be introduced in the 113th. I do recommend writing your congressmen about it in the 113th though. 🙂
