Medical Assistant question

I volunteer at a private clinic as a medical assistant; i do ultrasound scans, take vitals, assist patients when they wake up from anesthesia, etc. I am not a certified medical assistant, i didnt get a degree in it. However, i went through an extensive training/externship. Can I put this on my app or does legal issues come into play?

Pretty sure a license is not required to be a medical assistant, although many positions only accept those who have. I'm a medical assistant (private practice) without a license.
