I'm looking for suggestions on a medical dictionary for my PalmOS pda. What have you personally used and what would you recommend? I'm an MS2 and would like something complete enough for the next few years.

Thanks in advance,
Greg

I have found that "Dorlands" is a good dictionary for your pda.

I'd also be curious to know more about people's experience with handheld medical resources. I've noticed a few schools have started doing standard-issue of PDAs at the beginning of 3rd year. Anyone have any more information on whch models they've been handing out (PalmOS, WindowsCE, etc.) and what package they might be running?

I've heard people asking for free medical dictionaries before but I don't think anyone's ever found one. Let me know if you do...

If you want to pay you can get Stedmans, Dorland or Taber's on PDA now. They are all pretty good.

i got taber's off one of my classmates who had a burned cdrom of all the medical palmos software you could desire. also got medmath (which is awesome) and epocrates. epocrates and taber's come in handy all the time, but especially in pbl and small group settings. i've been pretty happy with taber's, but sometimes the definitions leave a little more to be desired.
